10 Natural Beauty Tips To Give You Healthy Glowing Skin

One of the first things that you need to know about skin care is that cost isn’t equal to effectiveness. If it costs a lot of money, many people feel that this makes it a better product. That’s just not true and this article will show you ways to have beautiful skin, naturally, without spending a fortune on products.

Everything on our list can be purchased at the local market and with very little preparation, used on your skin without fear of chemicals and burns. Give natural methods a try and see how they make your face feel and look.

1. Drink Water

Water is essential for your body, as well as your skin. When you drink plenty of water, your body has what it needs to flush toxins from the body. When you do not drink enough water, toxins are trapped in the body and the only way that they can be removed from the body is through the skin. This causes blemishes because of the oils and debris that can get trapped in that oil, on the surface of the skin. Remember to drink as much water as possible. It is often suggested that you drink an ounce of water for each pound of body weight. This means that most people need to drink at least one gallon of water per day.

2. Use Tomato Scrubs

Using tomato juice is good to kill bacteria on the surface of the skin and the acid in the tomato can gently exfoliate any dead cells and tissue that can clog pores. You can juice the tomatoes yourself or simply slice a tomato and place the slices on your face and rub them on your skin for a few minutes. Allow the juice to stay on your face until it air dries and then rinse thoroughly with water.

3. Potato Slices

Using sliced potatoes on the skin is a way to reduce puffiness and dark circles under the eyes. They're loaded with vitamin B and C, which are fantastic for skin, and are also beneficial in aiding to reduce wrinkles.  Grate a raw potato and mix with 2 Tbsp of lemon juice to create a natural and healthy skin scrub that will exfoliate and make your skin feel amazingly soft and clean. Rinse well, as always.

4. Orange Peels Reduce Acne

If you want to get rid of oily skin and acne, you should use orange juice on your face. You can also use an orange peel and rub it on your face as an exfoliator. The "Cosmetic Dermatology: Principles and Practice," says that the acidity in oranges and high levels of vitamin C makes them a fantastic acne treatment. It is safe, easy, and you can use it as often as you need or want to.

5. Cucumber

Cucumber is quite useful in removing sink imperfections and blemishes. Cucumber is soothing and smells pleasant as well. Many people use cucumber slices over the eyes to draw-out puffiness and reduce wrinkles and crows feet at the corners of the eyes. Apply the juice of cucumber on your face as a mask. Wash thoroughly after 20 minutes and you’ll see the difference in how your skin glows. Cucumber also has the ability to remove spots that occur with age. Use cucumber juice or slices applied directly on the affected area each day and it will gradually fade.

6. Salt Scrub

Salt is a wonderful exfoliator; it draws blackheads out, removes oils, and impurities from the skin. It will work to scrub away dead skin cells and oil that accumulates, holding the dead skin on your face, creating clogged pores. Add salt to your other favorites on this list to add some hydration to the mix. Salt is drying if not rinsed very thoroughly. You should follow-up with a good hydrating product.

7. Lemon to Draw Impurities From Pores

Use juice from a freshly squeezed lemon for the best results. Use this juice on your elbows to rid dark, dry skin from the elbows. It will remove blemishes, including blackheads, giving skin a warm, bright glow. Your cheeks will naturally rosy and your skin will appear clear after only a few treatments with lemon juice.

8. Steaming Your Face

Boiling a pot of water and leaning over it, with a towel over your head to trap the steam, is the equivalent of an expensive steam spa. The steam heat helps open the pores wide and when used before a treatment intended to cleanse the pores, will help open them to flush them more thoroughly. Rinse with cool, clean water to close the pores back shut, preventing more accumulation of debris from clogging them and causing blackheads and pimples.

9. Ground Almonds

Grind them and mix with a little water to create a paste. You may add other ingredients to this mix if you like. Almonds alone simply work as an exfoliator. Adding some cucumber would be a great mix, but you can create your own recipes that work best for your own personal needs. You can use this on lips too. Rub the face, massaging with your fingertips, then allow to sit and begin drying. After at least ten minutes, wash your face well with cool, clean water. After just one treatment, you’ll see skin that has a very healthy glow. Repeat as desired.

10. Milk

Rub cream or milk on the dark spots. Leave it for few minutes and wash with fresh water. Milk has acid in it that will work as a mild exfoliate and it also is full of vitamins and nutrients that can rehydrate and boost the skin tone and immunity to blemishes. Goat milk is the best milk to use for your skin care needs because of the particular chemical make-up of goat milk. It is also very high in butterfat, which has a softening quality.

You may mix any of the above ingredients and you can make some things up and store them for a limited time. You can grind nuts to store as exfoliate which you can add to any fresh ingredient on a moment’s notice. Give natural cleansers an opportunity to bring out the natural beauty in you.
