Summer is in full swing and people are already taking off their shirts left, right and centre. While this may be a treat for the eyes, it can leave us common folk envious and wanting to join in. If you’ve been in denial about bathing suit season, I’ve got some helpful tips to help you slim down fast without going to extremes. 

Earning your best summer body ever is easy to do when you have a plan. A well thought out plan of action will keep you determined and will help you to see your progress as you move along. The plan is simple, eat right and exercise hard.

Contrary to popular belief, losing body fat does not have to be a boring task that takes months to produce results. When you know what to do and when to do it, toning up and shedding body fat fast is more attainable than you might think.

Tone Up

Shaping up for summer isn’t just about losing weight; it’s about creating a toned, tight bod that looks great in and out of your swimsuit. In addition to cardio, hit the weight room, too. Now I know you probably think “I don’t want to become a bodybuilder here”, don’t worry, for a more sculpted physique exercising with some weights can really tone you up in time for the beach. For example, start an exercise such as biceps curls using a heavier weight, then, when you can’t do another rep, switch to a lighter weight and keep going until you're struggling to lift with good form. Eat Right

Eating right is arguably the most important factor to obtaining your summer shape in time for the beach and late evenings in the beer garden. Chances are you stocked up on warm fatty comfort foods during the cold winter months, while that isn’t a bad thing; they definitely need to be thrown out in order to get that beach bod. 

Instead of cottage pies and mugs of hot chocolate, you should be looking to introduce healthier options. Fruit and vegetables are key here and will provide you with essential body nutrients to promote weight loss and give your body the fuel it needs.
